Welcome to Sunday Jane! Based in the Washington D.C. area, I am an artist, illustrator, author with 48 years experience creating fine art, illustrations, and home decor that celebrate the Black experience. As a mixed media artist, I enjoy experimenting with materials to craft captivating imagery and emotions Since earning my BFA from Ohio Dominican College in 1986, I have dedicated myself to producing inspiring artwork that resonates with viewers.
Welcome to my artistic journey, where history meets creativity! My began at the University of Cincinnati, illustrating the Underground Railroad through mosaics. This experience fueled my to create art reflecting the struggles of Americans and supporting global causes. From collaborating with talented artists in Columbus to exhibiting at the ACE art gallery, I aim to inspire change through my work.

My work utilizes impressionism techniques to convey purity in voice and color, blending whimsical textures and forms.
