Fine Art That Tells a Story

Over the last 48 years as a professional artist, I have created volumes of art on canvas, paper, mixed media, and wood. It has been a personal journey. My art may look like "12" people have created it, but it is all me. I was taught to paint from the soul, heart, and spirit. The soul is complex, and life is vibrant. My walk with God also inspires me to create spiritual works of art. There is more to paint and more to say, pray, and express in my fine art. More to come!

I am a storyteller in the arts...and music. I started playing flute when I was 7. From there like all black kids in Columbus, Ohio I had to take piano lessons. I fell in love with the piano. From there I played every instrument I could find. I played in Marching bands, concert bands, jazz (piano), bands, percussion ensembles, and orchestra (viola). As I have gotten older I don't have the instruments that I long for, but I have become a composer of sorts. I played with a Jazz band many years ago. I have produced CDs of my music and mixes. Download a few sounds and hopefully, they touch your heart... or feet. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the variety of songs and paintings, illustrations, handmade, books, and decor on my site from my studio that tells the story of faith, joy, hope, and struggle.
